Workforce Development Training

Last year, Endeleo's Workforce Development Training Program served a total of 150 individuals through 6 weeks of virtual training sessions. With support from the Illinois Department of Human Services, we look forward to another successful year of assisting low-income individuals who were disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 to obtain jobs or careers that pay family-supporting wages.

 

Participants will receive:

  • job search and application training and assistance

  • resume-writing skills

  • interview skills and preparation

  • other key pre-employment skills​

Other benefits to program participants:

  • $300 per week participation stipend to be paid out monthly. 

  • Support Services for those participants deemed necessary

  • or qualified by IDHS Guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Be able to pass a drug test

  • Have both computer and internet access

  • Have basic computer knowledge

  • Be able to participate in the entire 6-week program, 5 days, 9 am - 11 am

Those who successfully complete the program may obtain jobs in the following sectors:​

Health

(i.e. CNA,

Home Health Aide)

Manufacturing

(i.e. Machinist,

Assembly)

Finance

(i.e. Teller,

Tax Prep

Loan Officer)

Retail

Security
